RCB vs UPW, WPL 2025 : UP Warriorz beats Royal Challengers Bengaluru in first ever Super Over

 In a historic Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025 match on February 24, UP Warriorz defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the league's first-ever Super Over. The thrilling encounter at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium saw both teams scoring 180 runs in their respective innings.


Batting first, RCB posted a total of 180/6, with Ellyse Perry remaining unbeaten on 90 off 56 balls, and Danni Wyatt-Hodge contributing 57 off 41 deliveries. In response, UP Warriorz matched the total, thanks to Sophie Ecclestone's quick 33 off 19 balls. A last-ball run-out by Richa Ghosh led to the Super Over.


In the Super Over, UP Warriorz set a target of 9 runs. RCB managed only 4 runs, resulting in a victory for UP Warriorz by 4 runs in the Super Over.


This match marked a significant milestone as the first Super Over in WPL history

Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 12: Chhaava creates a storm at the box office, just a little away from the ₹400 crore club – check total earnings.
