Anil Khandelwal and Naresh Jain have been accused of manipulating financial statements to present a healthy financial picture of Cox & Kings Limited (CKL), enabling it to secure substantial loans.
The Bombay High Court has granted bail to two chartered accountants, Anil Khandelwal and Naresh Jain, accused in a large-scale financial fraud involving Cox & Kings Limited (CKL) and multiple financial institutions. The duo have been in custody for nearly four years while awaiting trial.
Khandelwal and Jain have already been given bail in the money laundering case investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Despite securing bail in five separate cases investigated by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Mumbai Police, they remain in custody due to pending bail applications in other cases.
